Position Overview

Limen Masonry 2013 Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in masonry and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to brick and stone work.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

This position is based in the construction industry, where you will be expected to work in various settings, including residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry components.
  • Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Cut and trim masonry materials to specifications using both hand and power tools.
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices in masonry techniques.
  • Build residential and commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Lay radial bricks for industrial chimney construction.
  • Line industrial chimneys and smokestacks with firebricks.
  • Reinforce furnaces, kilns, and boilers with refractory materials.
Physical Demands

This role is physically demanding and requires:

  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
