About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diplomatic Protocol Officer to join our team at VANCOUVER WHISTLER GAMES CORPORATION. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning logistics and overseeing diplomatic protocol for official visits to Canada by foreign politicians and dignitaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise support staff to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the planning and coordination of diplomatic visits
  • Collaborate with government agencies and international organizations to ensure compliance with protocol and security requirements
  • Develop and implement logistics plans for official visits, including transportation, accommodation, and catering arrangements
  • Provide excellent oral and written communication to stakeholders, including government officials, dignitaries, and support staff
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in diplomatic protocol, international relations, or a related field
  • Basic security clearance and ability to obtain a criminal record check
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to relocate for this position, with relocation costs not covered by the employer
