About the Role

Vancouver Whistler Games Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Diplomatic Protocol Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the logistics of official visits to Canada by foreign politicians and dignitaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Support Staff: Lead and manage a team of support staff to ensure the smooth execution of diplomatic events.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative duties, including correspondence, reports, and data entry.
  • Plan Logistics: Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and other logistical details for official visits.
  • Oversee Diplomatic Protocol: Ensure that all diplomatic protocol is followed, including etiquette, customs, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 5 years or more
  • Work Setting: Urban area, with relocation costs not covered by employer
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance and criminal record check required
