The Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is seeking a dedicated Staffing Specialist. As a key member of our field teams, you will play both an executional and decision-making role in ensuring that candidates and stakeholders experience the highest level of customer obsession.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead New Hiring Events (NHEs): Plan, execute, and audit NHEs based on labor projections to meet demand and ensure timely fulfillment. Analyze event metrics and communicate findings to staffing leadership.
  • Streamline the Hiring Process: Ensure compliance with work authorization documentation for associates and manage background screening and drug testing processes efficiently to meet labor order requirements.
  • Candidate Engagement Expert: Consult with applicants, guiding them through the hiring process in accordance with Amazon's policies and procedures. Match candidates with suitable positions based on their skills and preferences.
  • NHE Execution & Support: Execute NHE activities such as greeting candidates, presenting event information, providing candidate care, offering computer assistance, and managing badge photos. Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems to manage applications and update appointment arrival statuses.
  • Onboarding & Communication: Initiate candidate onboarding processes and match them with appropriate requisitions. Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring journey.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to NHEs, hiring process efficiency, and candidate satisfaction. Generate reports to inform staffing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
