In your capacity as a Manager, Assurance for Privately Held Enterprises, your duties will encompass:
- Leading and managing client engagements across various industries and reporting frameworks.
- Driving new business initiatives by leveraging your expertise and understanding of Grant Thornton's services.
- Acting as a pivotal leader within the business unit, contributing to the formulation and execution of the office's business strategy.
- Enhancing engagement profitability through effective resource management.
- Analyzing and reviewing corporate and personal income tax returns, as well as compilation engagements.
- Planning and guiding teams to surpass client expectations.
- Supervising and mentoring an accounting team, including conducting file reviews.
- Leading the coaching and performance management processes, providing constructive feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and delivering training to foster team development.

QualificationsTo excel as a Manager, Assurance for Privately Held Enterprises, you should meet the following criteria:
- CPA designation is highly regarded.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a strong focus on tax and accounting.
- Experience working with owner-managed clients within a public practice context.
- A keen interest in coaching and development, coupled with a commitment to personal growth.
- A dedication to quality, excellence, and ongoing professional development for yourself and your team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong management capabilities, particularly in scheduling, organizing, supervising, and managing multiple teams.
- A self-motivated, results-oriented approach, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
