About the Role

Ciot Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports, to assist in decision-making and budgeting.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as maintain accurate records of tax payments and receipts.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
