About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menu plans that meet the needs of our customers and align with our brand's culinary vision.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to support menu execution.
  • Culinary Operations
    • Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
    • Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
    • Develop and implement systems to track inventory and monitor usage.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food meets our high standards.
    • Identify and address any quality control issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with our culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
    • Communicate effectively with staff to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
