Job Title: Dry Cleaning and Pressing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning and Pressing Specialist to join our team at Time 2 DryClean & Tailor Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines, as well as hand-folding and bagging shirts, sheets, and other articles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines
  • Hand-fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry-cleaned and laundered articles
  • Assemble and bag finished articles
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in dry cleaning and pressing
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus and team player
