Laundry Worker

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team at Mr.B's Laundromat. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Equipment: Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of garments.
- Mix and Add Chemicals: Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve the desired cleaning results.
- Finish Garments: Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
- Assemble and Bag Articles: Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are ready for customer pickup.
- Quality Control: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including matching invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced laundry environment, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Setting: Dry cleaning and laundry establishment.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
