About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning and Pressing Specialist to join our team at Time 2 DryClean & Tailor Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure high-quality cleaning and pressing services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to clean and press garments.
  • Hand Finish Garments: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are properly finished and ready for customers.
  • Inspect and Touch Up: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure they meet our high standards and use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in dry cleaning and pressing, or equivalent experience.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience operating dry-cleaning machines, hand-held steam irons, shirt pressers, and steam presses.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Site Environment: Hot and noisy work environment.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
