We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team as a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Community-Based Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The successful candidate will lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan.
About the PositionThis tenure-track position is available in the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be appointed as a tenure-track or tenured faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level and will be nominated for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a research program in community-based entrepreneurship and innovation
- Develop world-leading research programs and establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies
- Collaborate with communities to advance impactful entrepreneurship research
- Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
The successful candidate must hold or be near completion of a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a relevant field and demonstrate potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research. The candidate must also have less than 10 years of experience as an active researcher at the time of nomination.
