PAL Technical Services, a division of PAL Aerospace, stands at the forefront of line maintenance, international aerospace, and defense design, development, and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, alongside heavy maintenance inspections and specialized mission aircraft modifications. We deliver a comprehensive array of aviation and related services to both domestic and international markets.
PAL Technical Services oversees all aircraft maintenance functions within the PAL Group of Companies. We provide dynamic and varied career opportunities at our operational bases across Canada and internationally.
We are currently in search of qualified candidates for temporary contract roles as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Maintenance, Avionics, and Structures), both licensed and non-licensed, to bolster our Flightline Operations, Modifications Operations, and Heavy Check Operations.
Our Operations Include:
PAL Airlines Flight Line: Daily line maintenance support for Eastern Canada's largest regional airline. PAL Aerospace Flight Line Maintenance Operations: Supporting our special mission aircraft, our teams contribute to the success of our airborne ISR services both in Canada and internationally, including but not limited to ice patrols, whale migration surveillance, seal surveys, Search & Rescue, Air Ambulance operations, and Executive jet charter services. Air Borealis Flight Line: Daily line maintenance support for Labrador and Quebec Lower North Shore. Modifications: Special Mission Aircraft Modifications. Heavy Checks: Comprehensive maintenance inspections on company and client aircraft.Locations of Operations:
St John's, NL Halifax, NS Montreal, QC Goose Bay, NL Winnipeg, MBQualifications and Skills Required:
Essential: Completion of a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or equivalent experience through a recognized program; Minimum of 5 years' experience in the role of an AME; Experience in flight line, modifications, and/or heavy maintenance operations is advantageous; Familiarity with the following aircraft is a plus: Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400, ATR-42 or ATR-72, King Air 200 and/or King Air 300, Twin Otter DHC6; Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; Strong troubleshooting skills; Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, organizational, and communication abilities; Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations; Successful candidates will operate as Independent Contractors; therefore, a business number must be provided; A clean Criminal Record Check (CRC) is mandatory.What We Provide:
