Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft and related components, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair aircraft and related components in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Prepare aircraft for maintenance, repair, and/or modification
  • Assist with tug and towing procedures, aircraft defueling, and jacking up and down the aircraft
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and aircraft components
  • Ensure sufficient tools and equipment are available to accomplish maintenance and inspection functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on role specifications

Requirements

  • Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or equivalent experience
  • Aircraft Maintenance License with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, the international language of aviation
  • Experience in line maintenance or heavy maintenance operations is an asset
  • Experience on Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400 ATR-42 or ATR-72 aircraft is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
