Job Title: Telecommunications Line Technician

E-NET SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Line Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
  • Repair cable signals and associated equipment
  • Test equipment to locate transmission faults
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access
  • Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's licence

Work Environment:

The Telecommunications Line Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions is required.
