Lead Gameplay Animator

We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Gameplay Animator to join our team at Electronic Arts Inc. and contribute to the development of innovative action games.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with the Animation Director and animation team to set animation quality standards.
- Develop gameplay features in collaboration with designers, technical animators, and programmers.
- Lead daily efforts for a group of animators, setting direction and tasks.
- Work with technical animators to establish character rig needs and push tools and workflows to the next level.
- Promote communication and collaboration with peers across disciplines.
- Mentor, guide, grow, and lead animators, providing examples and arranging training as necessary.
- Provide guidance to other team members to work through technical and creative solutions.
- Write documentation and maintain production requirements such as stand-ups, feedback, and communication with peers.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of game animation experience.
- Proficient in all relevant software such as Maya and Motion Builder.
- Credited on at least one AAA title with ownership of parts of player or AI animation content, including in-game implementation.
- Experience in at least one game engine, with knowledge of how to work with multiple animation systems.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and effective time-management skills.
- Passion for making and playing games.
