Senior Gameplay Animator

We are seeking a skilled Gameplay Animator to join our team at Ubisoft Montreal. As a Gameplay Animator, you will be responsible for creating polished, harmonious animations that bring our games to life.
Key Responsibilities- Sync the engine and build to ensure you're working with the latest code and animations;
- Collaborate with artists, designers, programmers, leads, and other animators to achieve a unified goal;
- Prototyping, key framing, or blocking animations;
- Working on animations from scratch or from motion capture data;
- Testing and validating animations;
- Problem-solving and polishing animations;
- Staying up-to-date with the latest academic literature in animation.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in video game animation or equivalent;
- Proficiency in communicating with all disciplines and supporting the team in terms of visuals;
- Experience with animation software such as Motion Builder, 3ds Max, or Maya;
- A passion for pushing the boundaries of animation while understanding the demands of cohesive teamwork.
