PlayStation Gameplay Animator

At PlayStation, we're passionate about creating immersive gaming experiences that transport players to new worlds. As a Gameplay Animator, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our games to life with high-quality, engaging animations.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the animation team to develop and implement animation styles and techniques that enhance the gaming experience.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate animations into the game, ensuring seamless gameplay and a polished final product.
  • Develop and maintain animation tools and pipelines to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to ensure animations meet the desired quality and style.
Requirements:
  • Experience working on AAA games or equivalent projects, with a strong understanding of animation theory and techniques.
  • Proficient in keyframed and mocap animation skills, with a focus on creating realistic and engaging character movements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a passion for creating high-quality animations.
