About the Role

This is a 5-month salaried program aimed at developing sales and entrepreneurial-minded individuals into a Wealth Advisory role. You'll gain a thorough understanding of Scotiabank's Wealth Advisory businesses and Total Wealth Planning approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop core financial planning skills and complementary client discovery skills through the wealth planning process.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative client and internal/external partner relationships.
  • Influence, persuade, and build consensus as well as effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Adapt to constantly changing environments and leverage opportunities for growth.
What's in it for You?
  • A comprehensive training program leading to the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) Designation/Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF).
  • Opportunities within the Wealth Advisory businesses to gain exposure to an overall wealth strategy for a client's life.

  • Ongoing support during the Program through various touch points with the Program Lead and Total Wealth Planning leaders.
