RBC Dominion Securities, a leading investment and wealth management firm, is seeking a talented and self-directed Associate Advisor to join our team in Moncton. As a key member of our Investment Advisor team, you will play a crucial role in providing proactive advice and support to our clients, helping to deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm.

The ideal candidate will have a growth- and goals-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to identify new opportunities and help grow the business. You will work closely with our Investment Advisors to create customized portfolios and wealth plans for our clients, leveraging RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, providing complex financial advice and support.
  • Develop and implement customized wealth plans and investment strategies for clients, leveraging RBC's extensive resources and expertise.
  • Foster trusted, long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and advice.
  • Collaborate with RBC partners, such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance, to ensure clients receive comprehensive support for their financial needs.

Requirements:

  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO (if not already obtained, must be willing to be licensed within 6 months of hire date)
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT)
  • 4-6 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry, providing face-to-face advice on investment products and services
  • University degree
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • Highly developed client service skills
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
