Logistics and Inventory Specialist

The role of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Railtown Apparel Group involves critical responsibilities in managing the flow of goods within our distribution environment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
This position is based in a warehouse setting, which may also include a retail or wholesale establishment and distribution center.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections and verify incoming merchandise against invoices or other relevant documents.
- Document any shortages and reject items that are damaged.
- Organize and route products to designated storage locations.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packing.
- Unpack and sort received goods efficiently.
- Label shipments with necessary identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Supervise the loading and unloading processes of goods.
- Coordinate shipping documentation and manage the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
