Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Negotiation and Pricing: Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to optimize our purchasing power.
  • Merchandise Distribution: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring that our inventory meets the needs of our clients.
  • Product Selection: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and demand.
  • Travel and Transportation: Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Bilingual (English and French).
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
