Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. Your leadership will ensure that our food quality and service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Planning: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service meet established quality control standards.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports regarding food service operations.
  • Order Management: Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure efficient meal preparation.
  • Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee and check the assembly of food trays.
  • Delivery Oversight: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Scope

You will be responsible for supervising a team of approximately 5-10 individuals.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment that involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role can be physically demanding.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong client focus, excellent oral communication skills, and the ability to be flexible in a dynamic work setting.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience is required for this role. This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
