Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Brightshores. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in accordance with the defined professional scope of practice as set out by the CNO.
  • Work collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team to promote health, assess, provide care, and treat health conditions.
  • Travel to various sites within the corporation as required.
Requirements
  • RPN Certificate of Competence with the Ontario College of Nurses.
  • Ability to work at full scope of practice.
  • Physical Assessment Course or equivalent.
  • Competency in aseptic technique, urinary catheterization, administration of medications, IV therapy, POCT.
  • Excellent organizational and patient assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records.
  • Adherence to Brightshores 'CARE' Behaviours and 'LEAD' Competencies.
