Seeking a Foot Care Practitioner to provide routine foot care nursing services to residents and clients in long-term care homes within Grey Bruce, Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure resident care is provided with established nursing standards and principles, physicians' orders, and administrative policies.
- Assess residents and contribute to resident care plans, monitoring health and noting changes in condition.
- Perform foot care procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
Qualifications:
- Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care Certification is required.
- Registration or eligible for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices, as well as knowledge in Infection Control Practices.
- Effective human relation skills and demonstrated commitment to working with seniors.
About the Role:
The Foot Care Practitioner will travel within an assigned portfolio of homes, providing routine foot care nursing services to residents and clients.
