Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions (MDS) stands as a leading provider of sophisticated suspension solutions and welded assemblies for the global automotive sector. Our facility, spanning 240,000 square feet, is equipped with cutting-edge technology in metal stamping, advanced robotic welding systems, and automated assembly lines, all operated by skilled professionals dedicated to producing high-quality front and rear suspension components.
We are currently seeking a Production Operator who will take charge of operating machinery, tools, and equipment essential for assembling products that meet our customers' specifications. Candidates should be prepared to work during Afternoon or Night Shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various production machinery, including drilling, riveting, staking, tapping, and welding, whether automatic or manual, as assigned.
- Utilize measuring and gauging equipment to verify compliance with customer specifications.
- Accurately count and label finished products while documenting all relevant production data.
- Ensure precise information is recorded in the inventory management system.
- Monitor trends and complete necessary documentation (e.g., production reports, lot control forms).
- Inspect assemblies against fixtures, gauges, or visual aids as per established guidelines.
- Identify and report any issues related to productivity, quality, or safety.
- Conduct maintenance tasks, including tool changes and equipment setup.
- Perform inspections of finished goods according to control plans and operational instructions.
- In case of nonconformance, stop operations and notify the leadhand or supervisor.
- Clearly mark non-conforming materials with reject tags or place them in designated reject containers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Capability to meet or exceed company standards after gaining experience.
- Proficiency in operating all necessary equipment as required.
