Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at KING RIDERS LOGIX INC. as a key member of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance accounts, and perform other accounting tasks as required.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial reports, analyze data, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, providing guidance and support to help them integrate into the workplace.
- Support for Youths: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Work Environment: Work 32 hours per week in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
