Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at ONENESS HOME CONSTRUCTION INC. as a key member of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficiency in Quick Books, Simply Accounting, MS Office, and spreadsheet software.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, tight deadlines, accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and organized time management.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
