About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at ONENESS HOME CONSTRUCTION INC. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Quick Books, Simply Accounting, MS Office, and spreadsheet software.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, tight deadlines, accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and organized time management.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
