Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at WasteHaul Transport Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile accounts, including journal entries and trial balances.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical and accounting reports.
- Asset Management: Calculate and record depreciation of fixed assets.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, accuracy, dependability, and efficient interpersonal skills.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
