At Federated Co-operatives Limited, we're seeking a skilled Gas Bar Attendant to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless fueling experience for our members and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service at the pump, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Efficiently dispense fuel and propane, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough windshield cleaning, oil, and fluid level checks, ensuring vehicles are safe and ready for the road.
  • Process fuel and merchandise payments with precision and courtesy, handling cash and credit transactions with ease.
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise in a visually appealing manner, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work area, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Support marketing initiatives by promoting products and services, driving sales and customer engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager, contributing to the overall success of the gas bar.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old, meeting government regulations for fuel and propane dispensing.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience is an asset, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease.
  • Some heavy lifting is required, up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Dispensing fuel experience is an asset, with training available for the right candidate.
