Join Our Team as a Gas Station Attendant
Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking dedicated individuals to enhance our customer service experience at our Gas Bars. We are currently looking for casual Gas Station Attendants to support our operations.
Position Type: Casual (less than 24 hours/week)
Availability: Must be available on weekdays and weekends during mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service at the fuel pumps
- Dispense fuel and propane safely
- Maintain cleanliness by washing windshields and checking oil and fluid levels
- Process payments for fuel and merchandise
- Receive, unpack, and display various products
- Ensure a tidy and safe working environment
- Maintain cleanliness of the carwash where applicable
- Support marketing initiatives and promotions
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 16 years (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- Some heavy lifting may be required (up to 50 lbs)
- Experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training will be provided
