Job Summary:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Gas Bar Attendant to join our team. As a Gas Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and efficient fueling experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the pump, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Dispense fuel and propane with precision, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained.
  • Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed, ensuring a clean and well-maintained facility.
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience, promoting our products and services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse customers.
  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently, contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required.
  • Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset, with training available for the right candidate.
