Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Wendys Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is properly managed.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
