About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
  • Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, including psycho-educational groups and recovery management groups.
  • Provide individual counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their treatment goals.
  • Deliver Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services, including confidential counseling, case management, and direct clinical services.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Supervise students, interns, and non-regulated support personnel as required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Registration with the applicable regulatory College.
  • Three years' post-degree experience in group and individual psychotherapy.
  • Expertise in short-term solution-focused counseling and treating trauma, stressor-related disorders, and concurrent psychiatric and substance use disorders.
  • Knowledge of standardized and non-standardized assessments, as well as relevant mental health acts and community resources.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service delivery skills.
