Job Title: Clinical Lead Psychologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychologist to join our team at NuVista Mental Health. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing mentorship, education, and supervision to our team of clinicians. You will also have the opportunity to consult with other clinicians daily and attend regular clinical meetings to address operational and clinical topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychotherapy, psychoeducational, and psychological assessments to clients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other clinicians
  • Supervise and mentor junior clinicians to ensure high-quality care
  • Participate in regular clinical meetings to discuss client progress and address operational issues

Requirements:

  • PhD or Masters in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
  • Registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists
  • Professional Liability Insurance or willingness to obtain
  • At least 1 year of experience in trauma-informed practice
