Division Manager, Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Manager to join our team at NL Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting excellence in care provision and staff empowerment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
- Build strong relationships with physician leads to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Develop and implement strategies to measure and monitor care provision, ensuring consistency with established policies and best practices.
- Select, develop, motivate, and appraise staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Manage change in a dynamic environment, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to services.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Baccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline.
- A Master's degree in the applicable area is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) in an adult acute care clinical setting.
- Progressive leadership and/or management experience.
- Strong leadership skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and conflict management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tight timelines.
