Job Summary
The Division Manager will lead the medicine inpatient services and Ambulatory Treatment Unit services at the GB Cross, ensuring they are consistent with established policies and best practices. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with physician leads, measuring and monitoring care provision, and staff selection, development, and performance appraisal.
Key Accountabilities
The Division Manager will work within the NL Health Services Leadership Framework, with accountabilities to lead self, engage others, achieve results, develop coalitions, and implement systems transformations. This includes working within the Divisions lines of business, quality and risk management, and experience in adult acute care clinical settings.
Requirements
A minimum of five years of experience within the last seven years in an adult acute care clinical setting is required. The successful candidate will have knowledge of adult acute care services, ability to manage change and continuous quality improvement, and leadership skills to foster development of others and build effective teams.
