Job Title: Home Building Contractor

We are seeking a skilled Home Building Contractor to join our team at McIntyre Coatings Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Prepare Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Inspect Subcontractors Work: Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications.
  • Manage Budgets: Plan and manage budgets for home construction, renovation, and restoration projects.
  • Perform Trade Work: Perform various trade work during home construction or renovation activities.
  • Recruit and Supervise Staff: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support project operations.
  • Develop Business Plans: Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Prepare Estimates and Bids: Prepare estimates and bids for home construction, renovation, and restoration projects.
  • Collaborate with Customers: Work with customers, architects, and engineers to ensure plans and specifications meet their needs.
  • Maintain Directory of Supplies: Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.
  • Ensure Permits: Ensure that construction permits are obtained and maintained throughout the project.
  • Direct Daily Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in home building or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
