Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Aramark Canada. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, portioning meals, and serving our customers. You will work closely with your manager to learn on the job and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of food preparation and assist in the preparation of food items for the day.
  • Manage cash handling, POS, debit transactions, and daily banking.
  • Order food and supplies from preferred vendors.
  • Conduct inventory controls and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure daily temperature logs are completed and maintained.
  • Complete opening and closing station checklists.
  • Adhere to all regulated Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Assist with daily safety observations and report any safety hazards to management.
  • Cross-train in areas as needed.
  • Perform tasks as requested by your manager on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Lead all aspects of food service operations and advise employees on the line to ensure timely and effective service to customers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Food service experience preferred.

This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
