Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Inlet Chevron. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our store's finances effectively.
  • Order merchandise and manage our inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our store is well-staffed at all times.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain our inventory, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a retail environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
