We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation
- Apply aseptic techniques and sterile dressing to prevent infection
- Conduct specimen collection and monitor nutritional intake
- Ensure infection control and maintain a safe environment
- Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, as well as technical assistance to surgeons
- Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
- Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Immunization records and tuberculosis test
- Criminal record check
As a LPN at Pro Vita Care Management, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work in a team setting and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
