Smitty's Restaurant and Lounge is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Host to join our team
Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and organized individual to create a positive first impression for our guests. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Greeting and Seating: Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Reservation Management: Document and set up reservations to specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Communication: Enthusiastically answer phones, take to-go orders, and communicate with third-party delivery drivers to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and restrooms, including clearing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
- Availability: Must be available to work from 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work one weekend shift if needed.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.
