The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science currently offers five accredited programs in Electronic, Environmental, Industrial, Petroleum, and Software Systems Engineering, with a recent addition of an Energy Systems Engineering program. We also provide graduate programs including M. Eng., M.A.Sc., and Ph.D., along with interdisciplinary options. Role ResponsibilitiesThe University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Instructor level. A deep commitment to teaching and service is essential, with a preference for candidates possessing industrial experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the capability and enthusiasm to instruct both undergraduate and graduate courses in power systems and core electronic systems topics.
Responsibilities include supporting power systems laboratories and overseeing student design projects in the power protection domain.
Collaboration within the Electronic Systems Engineering program is highly valued, as is the ability to establish connections with industry professionals in the power systems sector.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Applied Science degree or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline. Registration as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan is also required.
