Key Responsibilities
- Utilize computer-aided design/drafting software, including AutoCAD and civil 3D, to create detailed designs and plans.
- Design sanitary and storm sewer systems, water distribution systems, and roads and parking lots, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and project success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design and delivery processes.
Requirements
- Diploma in civil engineering technology or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in design and construction field, preferably in municipal and land development projects in Ontario.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas and designs to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to ensure high-quality designs and deliverables.
- Valid driver's license, with ability to travel to project sites as needed.
