Valve Technician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Valve Technician to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our Lifecycle Services service model, you will play a critical role in the teardown, repair, and calibration of control valves and instruments.
Responsibilities- Assemble and repair new and existing equipment, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety protocols.
- Document all repair and testing activities, including cause of failure, actions taken, and labor hours.
- Provide exceptional customer communication, including technical assistance, troubleshooting, and quoting.
- Disassemble, clean, and evaluate parts for repair or replacement.
- Prepare surfaces for painting and apply coatings as needed.
- Stamp and tag nameplates and complete final inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company regulations.
- Participate in field service calls and contribute to safety, quality, and activities committees.
- High School diploma or equivalent post-secondary education.
- 2+ years of industry-related experience.
- Ability to work in a shop environment with prolonged standing, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Mechanical-related degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
- Understanding or work experience with Fisher and Final Control products.
