Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Old Spaghetti Factory (Whistler) Ltd. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Menu Planning: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure accurate menu planning and inventory management.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and maintain a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
