About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Westend Grocery Tempo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and ensure all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, and ensure all sales are compliant with company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
