About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Buster's Pizza and Donair. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) System: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage Cash and Credit Transactions: Process cash, credit, and debit card payments, and reconcile daily sales with the POS system.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the sales floor and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Assist with in-store promotions, sales events, and product demonstrations to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 7 Months to Less than 1 Year of Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
