About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Buster's Pizza and Donair. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale System: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage Inventory and Stock: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure that products are facing forward and at eye level.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, working effectively under pressure to meet sales targets and customer demands.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Participate in promotional activities, such as sales events and product launches, to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 7 Months to Less than 1 Year of Experience: Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is an asset.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Flexibility and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity and pressure.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, potentially up to 8 hours per day.
  • Physical Demands: Lift, carry, and move products and equipment as needed.
