Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printer Slotter Operator to join our team at Atlantic Packaging. As an Evol Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining all Evol equipment and machinery to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment and contribute to a safe and efficient production process
  • Rotate through all positions on the machine to ensure optimal operation and quality control
  • Verify stock dimensions with production copy and maintain specifications
  • Perform set-up procedures and troubleshoot problems to ensure optimal machine operation
  • Inspect parts and adjust controls as required to maintain quality and production standards
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety practices and using personal protective equipment
  • Report all problems and hazards to your Supervisor immediately

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Basic Math skills
  • Previous manufacturing experience an asset
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Computer literate
  • Machine operation skills
  • Organization skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts
  • Team Player
  • Self-starter
