Position Overview

Stewart Tree Farms is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Landscape Maintenance Specialist. This position involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces.

Education Requirements
  • No formal education, certificate, or diploma is required.
Work Environment
  • Work primarily outdoors.
  • Expect exposure to noisy and dusty conditions.
Job Setting
  • Work will take place at multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in landscape construction projects.
  • Rake and gather refuse.
  • Remove litter and waste materials.
  • Transport and distribute topsoil and other landscaping materials.
  • Apply fertilizers as needed.
  • Operate and maintain various landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Plant and relocate trees as required.
Types of Plants Handled
  • Coniferous trees.
  • Deciduous trees.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with chain saws.
  • Familiarity with small engine equipment.
  • Ability to operate tractors and tractor mowers.
  • Knowledge of weed trimmers and edgers.
Travel Information
  • Travel expenses will be covered by the employer.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to engage in repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
